Anime Cafe

Enjoy Great Coffee and Vote in the Anime Cosplay Competition.

The 2011 NZ barista champion, Hide Kono will be taking an active part in the charity "Anime Cafe."

Your coffee will be professionally made using a siphon. This method of coffee making is becoming very popular again in Japan. You will also be able to see some of the Japanese Anime Cosplay competitors at the cafe so come and vote for your favourite anime character!

Japanese anime is an important part of the modern Japanese culture and is loved and supported by the younger generation all over the world.

As most of our participants will be wearing new or traditional Japanese costumes. We invite everyone to join in by wearing something with a Japanese theme.
